Barrett and Ivan ( Something about him ) by A.D. Ellis

Firstly I would like to say that if you haven't already read the first two books in the series then you should...

Although having said that this can be read as a standalone but I don't want you to miss out.

A brother, a sister and a best friend.

Thrown into turmoil by the most awful of circumstances, Ivan, the older brother is put in jail for 10 years for murdering the man who was about to beat his sister to death.

He entrusts Barrett to look after her and spends the time in jail making money the hard way, being attacked and forced against his will, surviving only because of the letters he recieves from the outside.

Barrett had known he was gay from a young age and had always had a crush on Ivan.

With a calculated kiss as he is taken away to fool the police, Ivan leaves Barrett in complete and utter turmoil, dreaming the next 10 years away, waiting for a chance to see if it could turn in to something more.

Ivan had never considered that he liked men but that kiss was a wake up call.

How would the three of them cope when he got out?

Would he fit in to their well ordered lives or would they want him to leave?

Will the two men both get what they have been thinking about for a decade? Each other!!!!

Throw in some beautiful memory books, a cottage in the middle of nowhere, some hot sex and a threat from the past that could possibly ruin it all and you have an absolutely perfect book.

I can't wait for the next one in the series.

5 out of 5 stars.
