What It Looks Like by Matthew J. Metzger

Meet Rob and Eli.

Bad boy Rob had a hard life, a useless mother and a baby brother to look after.

Always in trouble and getting arrested he isn't really your typical boyfriend material.

Eli had a very different upbringing and as you go through the book you will see exactly what I mean.

With a father who is a policeman and a mother who is in the job as well, he has been brought up to be a law abiding individual.

This however isn't the only difference.

When the two men get together there are the inevitable conflicts between Eli and his parents, his sister has just escaped a bad boy and they don't want Eli going down the same path.

What they don't realise is that Rob knows all Eli's secrets and is perfectly happy with what they have.

Rob isn't always as calm as Eli would like him to be and throughout the book we see a few less than desirable situations.

Eli isn't afraid to throw in a bit of punishment when he feels it's needed and the slight BDSM element is definitely hot.

I won't say what the secret is but let me tell you, having some experience with this subject has shown me that this author has dealt with it in exactly the right way and it makes the book a very lovely story to read.

At times the situations they find themselves in made me quite emotional, I can't even begin to imagine what it must be like.

An absolutely inspiring read.

5 out of 5 stars.
