The 'True Love' Solution by Julie Bozza

The ‘True Love’ Solution by Julie Bozza – 4 stars

This was the first book that I have read by this author and it took me a little while to get used to her flouncy style but once I did I thought it was cute and refreshing. This was a proper romance story not smutty at all but in its own way very sexy and alluring. Jules is such a wonderful character; so colourful and interesting and amusing. His outlook on life is simple – all he wants is his happy every after just like he reads about in his romance novels. Jules loves an author called Ewan Byge and treats himself to some of his memorabilia but when it looks as if he’s been defrauded he consults the police and is allocated PC Leonard to investigate his case. Jules gets to meet his hero Ewan Byge and a mild flirtation occurs but what everyone else can see except Jules, is that Leonard is quietly and stoically falling in love with him. Jules lives with his Dad Archie and his foster sister Jem and their quirky little family welcomes Leonard with open arms – especially when he offers to decorate Archie’s room. Will Jules ever see what’s right in front of him or will he blinded by his crush for Ewan?

I enjoyed this so much – it was well written and properly researched so no distractions from the story line. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to read an amusing feel good old fashioned romance (with a bit of gay sex thrown in for very good measure!)
