Escaping Camp Roosevelt by Bryan T Clark

I do love when I get a request from an author I have never read before. It's the excitement of maybe dicovering someone whose work you are going to love....
I loved the idea of the story, two men at their lowest point being thrown together and making the best of life.
Dancer was a really good character, you could sense there was more to him from the way he conducted himself. Tucker was equally as good in his own way, a protector for his little sister, I wanted him to have a happy ending.
Theirs is a life I couldn't even begin to comprehend and the day to day struggle is very real. Living on the streets isn't a choice, and it isnt always those with the worst lives that end up there.
This was a eye opening but heart warming story and I absolutely loved it. I can't wait to read more of this authors work.
4 out of 5 stars.
