Ashes (Men of Hidden Creek Book 1) by H.J. Welch

Well after reading this I'm looking forward to the rest of the series. I love this author's books anyway but always worry if a new series will live up to the previous one, this did!!

A lovely story about two men, connected by a friendship that ultimately leads to more. A childhood crush and a hidden desire that has started to emerge come together in a very beautiful way.

A big brother's best friend that had always seemed forbidden has suddenly become a saviour for Kris, in the truest sense of the word. Saved from a burning building by the man he had always thought of as a hero was the ultimate dream come true. When Remi also gave him a place to stay he knew it would be difficult to say the least. 

He never thought that the man he loved would love him back....

A wonderful, well written as always book and I can't wait to see what else Hidden Creek has to offer.
