My Dark Knight (Kings of Hell MC #2) by K.A. Merikan
Paranormal isn't my usual choice of book but I read the first one in this series and fell in love with the story.
In book two we meet The Count, or Elliot as he is normally known. Obsessed with the murderer William Fane, he is a loner who has had a bad start to life and very poor taste in men. Tall, skinny and pale skinned, he lives in a broken down caravan with no food or heat and lives his life online interacting with people interested in Fane's story.
When trying to investigate where the murders took place, he encounters Knight. He is the VP of the Kings of Hell MC and hates Fane with a passion, after all, it's his ancestor who was captured and ultimately bought Fane's reign of terror to and end. (not a spoiler, it's in book 1)
Knight is a man who lives to party and after a bad relationship is happy to have sex with any willing body, gender isn't an issue. He has longed to come face to face with the idiot online who glorifies Fane and calls Laurent a killer.
When the two men meet, sparks of a different sort fly and a love/hate relationship begins where Knight finds himself taking on the role of protector.
When ghosts from the past reappear and threaten to ruin things, the men find themselves in real danger.
I absolutely loved this book and am looking forward to Jake's story in book three.
