I used to read crime and mystery books all the time so was really pleased to come across this one.
In the midst of the riots, Noah realised that the shop belonging to someone he unsuccessfully dated had been burnt.
When he tried to go and tell Guy, he found himself involved in a murder mystery that he wasn't prepared for.
There is a body but no answers, a grieving family of sorts and a couple of dodgy cops who seem to want to keep secrets hidden.
With the help of a few friends and his staff, Noah turns detective, then suspect, then almost victim himself.
A fascinating page turner that kept me gripped with all the twists and revelations.
Looking forward to the rest of the series.
