I have been waiting for Gage's story and I have to say, it was well worth the wait.
He is the seemingly strong one of the group who work at Heathens but underneath it all he's as broken as the rest of them. He has never recovered from losing the love of his young life to suicide, living daily with the blame he holds inside of him.
He feels he has many reasons for shouldering the blame and apart from a few hook ups, thinks he deserves to be alone.
When Beck walks in to Heathens, he seems to spark something in Gage, a need he thought was long gone....
Beck lost his twin sister a year ago and his tribute to her will be the beautiful tattoo he is about to get. The man doing it is an added bonus. He sees the pain Gage is trying to live with and decides he will be the one to heal him.
For Gage, Beck is like Jay in many ways, he is the type of man he would go fo all over again if only his heart didn't feel like it was a betrayal. Can the gorgeous guy in lipstick and heels really bring him back to life?
This story is just beautiful in it's pain and the way it makes you feel all the emotions the two men are going through, draws you in and doesn't let you go.
