This is a lovely follow up book to Taste on my Tongue and we get to catch up with a few characters form that story.
Jordan is a football player on the way up his game, Reed is a chef already at the top of his. It's a very sweet coming together of two men who in other circumstances would have never met. The love affair that follows is short, hot and sadly ends on a bad note!!
As we follow their story we see the shy, unsure side after a breakup, the regrets, the anger and the sadness.
What could have been and maybe will be again is enough to keep you invested in their story.
Add in the Christmas setting and it makes for the perfect book.
